Steps to enable Firewall for 'OMessenger' on Norton 2008
  • 1. Run Norton 2008.
  • 2. Open the Norton console window and click the Norton Internet Security tab then click Settings.
  • 3. Select Norton Internet Security Options below the Settings option.
  • 4. In the Norton Internet Security window, click Personal Firewall.
  • 5. Click the Program control option then click the Configure button at the bottom.
  • 6. To add OMessenger in the Program Control list follow the steps below.
    A. Click the Add button under the Program Control list.
    B. Browse to select the installation path and click Open.
  • 7. Click Allow in the Security Request window for the OMessenger access control then click OK.
